Stebbing Parish Council
Elected from residents of the village, we are the grass roots tier of
Government and work to improve and protect the Parish of Stebbing

SPEND AND HOW WE SPEND IT
The Parish Council receives an annual
Precept from the District Council. Full details of the

WHAT OUR
PRIORITIES ARE AND HOW WE ARE DOING
The Parish Council’s strategy,
performance, plans and assessments, inspections and reviews are
discussed on a monthly basis (excluding August) at meetings which are
published on the village notice board and website. Minutes of
the meetings are published on the parish website
HOW WE MAKE
DECISIONS
Proposals are made by Parish Councillors
and voted on by a show of hands. If necessary the Chairman
has a casting vote. The Parish Council’s standing orders lay
down the procedures to be followed. A copy is available on
the Parish Council website or from the Clerk 01371 855805.

LISTS AND
REGISTERS
Lists of Parish Councillors are
displayed on the Parish Council Website and held by the Clerk. Declaration
of Interest returns are held by the District Council.
THE
SERVICES WE OFFER
Advice and guidance on request to the
Clerk or Councillors. Booklets and leaflets as appropriate including
the Chairman’s Annual Report. Transactions and media releases
are reported in the minutes of the Parish Council. A
description of the services offered are expanded in the Chairman’s
annual report i.e. works undertaken by the Committees of the Parish
Council
CHARGES FOR PHOTOCOPYING POSTAGE AND PACKAGING AND COSTS DIRECTLY INCURRED AS A RESULT OF VIEWING INFORMATION WILL BE ADVISED ON REQUEST AND PAYMENT WILL BE REQUESTED AT THE TIME THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED
